Celebrating a Family Tradition
Gwen
has been a licensed massage therapist since 2004 with an office in Big
Sandy, Texas, on Highway 80, East of Subway.
Gwen and her family
renovated the building for about a year before she moved in. Gwen's Grandpa
Jenison once housed his lawn mower business in this building many years
ago.
Gwen, the daughter of George and Ruth Ann Eaton, was born and raised
right here in Big Sandy. She is the granddaughter of the late Bud Jenison,
Big Sandy’s beloved old codger and self-taught chiropractor who
served countless people before his death in 1997. He spent hours working
tirelessly to help his neighbors, offering sound advice and fellowship
as well. So Gwen has had some big shoes to fill.
Today, Gwen’s intentions are
much the same, making the family circle complete. By staying on the cutting edge of new and proven
massage techniques, Gwen often makes a big difference in the way her clients feel and function. Whether
people come with aches and pains, an injury, or they just want to pamper themselves, Gwen not only
draws upon a broad spectrum of therapies, but also taps a deep well of practical experience inspired
by family members. Gwen’s clients also benefit from the large network of health professionals
that she and her family have cultivated over the years.
One of those caregivers is Certified
Christian counselor Diane White. Diane is utilizing one of the office
spaces to offer free individual, family, and group counseling under
the business name Courage to Change. Diane can be reached at 903-636-5050.
Another caregiver in the same building is Wanda Bunn who offers herbs,
iridology and oils under the business name Nature's Healing Tree. Wanda
can be reached at 903-780-7736. |
